What is the common thread between Mendel, an interactive sound and visual installation presented in Porto in September 2007, and Drones, a piece for ensemble created by the EIC at the Cité de la Musique in Paris the same month? Between Artaud Corpus Fragment, an active tribute combining sound poetry and live electronic music, and Le Grand Dehors, a choreographic performance developed between Paris (at Ircam) and Angers (at the National Center for Contemporary Dance)?

An artistic line: that of Pierre Jodlowski, to whom Ircam will once again open its doors in 2009 for an even more unexpected project within the spaces of Siemens France. A documentary written and directed by Maÿlis Dupont and Lionel Escama.

Images of a Work Collection No. 5: "Deux Caprices by Luis Naón

Part of the vast Urbana cycle, Deux Caprices for percussion are the last two of a series of six, written for a solo instrument and electronics, commissioned from the composer by Ircam in 2007–2008. The original idea behind this commission was to revisit the genre of the étude, combining compositional ingenuity, technological prowess, and instrumental virtuosity.
